Businesses are driven by growth. A business that lacks growth is not expected to run for a longer period. Thus we see every business today seeking growth.

A company grows when its workforce grows w.r.t to the work associate and it is their contribution which ultimately the business.

Therefore it would not be wrong to say that tracking the workforce performance is as important as tracking the growth.

There can be various dimensions to measure how strong or how empowered your employees are. It can be in terms of number, skills, efficiency, etc. These statistics can bring out the areas where employees are lacking and then related training can be provided to them.

There would always be some scope of upskilling in your labor force. Be it a newly joined employee or an experienced one, improvements can always be made through suitable, necessary, and required training.

This shows the importance of training in any organization. A trained workforce acts as a multiplier in a company’s success. It can be said that it is directly proportional to a company’s growth and efficiency.

Further, the training itself consists of various factors. For example, what and how training is to be provided, what training is to be given to whom, etc. But what becomes more important is to track the training of the employees.

Tracking employee training can give an insight into employees’ professional efficiency. The skill level of every employee can be traced to upgrade them and build their working capacity.

Training can be given in the traditional way with everyone physically present at one place, however, the virtual mode has been in trend in recent times. The reason behind it can be the advancement in technology, the need for automation, and many more. The current ongoing pandemic situation has become the sole important reason to start virtual training.

In this regard, the mention of LMS comes automatically into this discussion. LMS (Learning Management System) has evolved manifolds within a short span of time. Until recently we were seeing ILT (Instructor-Led Training) and now it is the time for vILT(virtual ILT).

As it is said that Supply creates its own Demand but in this case, it would not be incorrect to say that demand has created Supply. The demand to reduce the training cost, training hundreds of employees at the same time, giving the flexibility to attend the training, removing the location barrier and accommodation issue. All these have led to the emergence of LMS for the training and onboarding of employees virtually.

Here all these challenges have been overcome and companies with LMS can now do wonders when it comes to training and tracking.

Proper management of the workforce would lead to better functioning of the business and would improve productivity.

LMS is thus considered to be the new tool for this that has the potential to create significant and remarkable differences.
